Theoretical-methodological model for the talent stimulation in the formation of the physical culture professional

Abstract

The research work proposes a model about talents´ stimulation in the formation of the physical culture professional. Over the theoretical and research antecedents that act as a referential frame of this study, talents and stimulation are analyzed both in the international field and in Cuba, as well as its materialization in the formation of the physical culture professional and a first approach to the dimensions and indicators of talents in this field is stated. With a qualitative approach, its four working phases were developed in a period between January 2008 and December 2012. In the first phase, a needs diagnosis related with talents´ stimulation in the Physical Culture context is stated . The second phase reflects the determination of the dimensions and indicators of talents from experts criteria. In the third phase, a stimulation experience that emerges from regularities to make a design of the theoretical-methodological model for stimulation of talents in this field is built, which is subject to the experts ‘criterion in the fourth phase in order to determine the relationship between the representation of reality and the veracity in the interpretation of the results obtained through the experience.
