Abstract

In this article they offer arguments about the importance and the necessity of guiding the Process of Teaching Learning of the Statistic in the graduate degree of the professional of the physical culture and the sport, toward the development of the statistical thought to achieve a level of understanding that allows to apply this science to the profession and the investigation. For they, are described it, with the help of the logical historical method, the antecedents of this process in the context of the physical culture in Cuba. Assisting to the following indicators: place that occupies the statistic in the graduate degree, focus and dynamics of their process of teaching learning, treatment that he/she receives in the scientific literature of the specialty and reflection of the development of the statistical thought in the process of the investigations.
