Manual of Physical Education terminology in the english language

Abstract

The domination of the physical education terminology is crucial for the professional performance of the physical culture students and professors; however there is not enough available bibliography to carry out the teaching-learning process at present, that’s why the authors of this article devoted themselves to the writing of a manual on physical education in the English language which is a complementary text for the physical education professors and students. During this research, theoretical and empirical methods were applied like: surveys and interviews. The programs of the English and Physical Education subjects were also analyzed. The manual proposed includes a wide repertoire of terms, phrases and commands that are used in Physical Education and very useful for other sports subjects.
