Abstract

A Physical Education Program for first and second grade children in Angola is the result of a scientific research that answers the question: How to promote physical development in first and second grade children of primary schools in the City of Kilamba in Luanda, Angola? That served as a scientific problem. For which it was proposed as an objective: to develop a Physical Education program to promote physical development in first and second grade children. Through the use of theoretical and empirical methods such as historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, systemic, measurement, observation, survey, interview, review of official documents and experiment, the existence of different limitations was found in the theoretical and methodological order, which allowed to affirm that the current program does not favor a physical-motor development in these children, according to their ages. The research was carried out from March 2016 to March 2017, taken as a population 213 boys and girls of first and second grade of Kilamba 2 primary school in the province of Luanda-Angola, from which a random sample of 64 children from both sexes representing 30% of the population, those who underwent an experiment to verify the effectiveness of the program, resulting in improvements in the physical development of children under investigation.
