Abstract

The research "Tourist-physical-recreational walk through San Juan de los Remedios de la Sabana del Cayo", was carried out in the city of Remedios, municipality of the same name, to solve the wandering of national and international visitors through the city. The proposal makes a mixture of physical recreation and tourism, where 818 meters are traveled. In the work, a trip through sixteen places in the Historic Center of the Villa is proposed, combining physical exercise with recreation, it was developed from the diagnosis, allowing an assessment of the practical effects of the study on the subjects under investigation. The objective of the work is: To propose a “Tourist-Physical-Recreational Walk through the facilities of the Historic Center of the Villa of San Juan de los Remedios de la Sabana del Cayo. It was carried out with 25 subjects with disposition and possibilities to participate in the crossing, a pre-experimental study was carried out for a month. The following were used as methods of the theoretical level: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction; and at the empirical level: observation and survey, documentary analysis and interview. Descriptive statistics techniques such as percentage analysis, tables and graphs were included. Visitors to the Villa were incorporated into physical-recreational activities as part of the work. Its importance lies in the fact that the history of the town is shown, it contributed to the improvement of its quality of life and it contributed to the income of “Local Development.
