The research in the sciences of physical culture: use of the logical and historical method

Abstract

The article is about the authors’ ideas to clear up the use of the theoretical level methods in the
scientific investigation, specifically the historical-logical one, from the analysis made to some
Doctor´s and Master´s Degree research works in which this method is stated and also from the
participation experience in some scientific degree board of examiners and tutorship of some other
research works, contexts where controversial positions have appeared regarding its use, which take
it apart from the dialectical and materialistic conception as a general method of investigation
