This study addresses Physical Recreation through the use of physical-recreational-educational activities related to the Pioneer Explorer Movement, particularly focusing on Small Explorers and, specifically, on the preparation of pioneers to successfully achieve the established categorizations. This aspect is of vital importance in the formation of pioneers, as improving their preparation
contributes to enhancing the overall quality of the Movement. This research is based on existing difficulties related to knots and lashings, marching, and knowledge of trees and their classification. Therefore, the objective of this study was to design physical-recreational-educational activities aimed at preparing Moncadista pioneers within the Pioneer Explorer Movement. Methods such as document analysis, observation, pre-experimentation, and surveys were employed, leading to significant results in the preparation of Moncadista pioneers at “Camila Sobrado” School in the municipality of Camajuaní. The main results lie in the description of each activity, which serves as a guideline for their implementation, as well as in their methodological orientations, which allow, based on their essence, the necessary adaptability to contextual changes, thus enabling the generalization of these activities.
