Actions to improve the management of children's Baseball teams

Abstract

The present work has as general objective to elaborate a proposal of actions to improve the direction of equipment of the infantile baseball in the province of Villa Clara. The needs regarding the management process of the Baseball coaches of the children's categories in the province are confirmed. During the investigation, methods were used at the theoretical level such as analytical- synthetic, inductive-deductive; from the empirical level the survey, the interview, the observation and the analysis of documents. Actions are proposed based on the results. It is concluded that teachers do not have the necessary knowledge regarding the methods of management of baseball teams in the children's categories; the curricula of the specialty treat the subject in a simple way with respect to the infantile categories; the results of the observation do not correspond to what was raised in the survey by the teachers, issues that cause the sports results are not consistent with the quality of the athletes.
