Abstract

The stage before school is fundamental in human being’s development, because during that period children learn to walk, speak, know and be related with their contemporaries. That’s why the role of the family is vital as the first school in life. “Educate your child” Program is guided to obtain the children’s maximum development through the family self-preparation, fulfilling in this way with the participation of all together. To propose educative actions for the preparation of families to develop basic motor abilities in 3-5 years old children from “Educate your child” Program in the Popular Hospital Neighborhood, Santa Clara municipality, is the objective of the actual research, which is selected to solved the stated problem, taking as antecedent the insufficient families’ preparation to develop basic motor abilities at those ages and the poor participation in united activities. Eight activities were proposed, with the application of participating techniques which involves different themes. Theoretic methods are used, such as the historical-logical, analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and documental analysis. Among the empiric ones, there are the observation, the inquest, the interview, the user consultancy, the methodological triangulation and participative techniques. Related to statistic mathematical methods to process the data the empirical distribution of frequency was used.
