The study aimed to characterize the inclusion process in the Physical Education class of first-year students with postural disorders at the Faculty of Health Technology and Nursing in the province of Villa Clara. A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted using empirical methods such as document analysis, observation, source triangulation, and theoretical and statistical mathematical methods. The study involved six students excluded from the Physical Education practical class due to postural disorders. The study resulted in five females and one male being affected; the average age was 18.2 years, and the predominant condition was scoliosis. No medical prescriptions for abstaining from physical exercise were found. The greatest deficiencies reported by students were found in the "Access and Participation" dimensions; with contradictions regarding interpersonal relationships in the former, and poor perception by respondents of the responsibility and commitment of the Faculty's administrators and teachers to the necessary adaptations and support to ensure participation. It is concluded that the existing gaps in "Access" and "Participation" in the Physical Education classes of the students participating in the study interfere with the inclusive education process in these classes.
2025-04-14T00:00:00-04:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Science and Physical Activity https://revistaciaf.uclv.edu.cu/index.php/revista/article/view/2809 The physical education and their influence in the promotion of the sport initiation 2025-11-11T23:44:14-05:00 Denis Lara Caveda denislaracaveda@gmail.com Yamila Román Majín yroman@uniss.edu.cu
Physical Education has become an important area of educational intervention, focusing on classroom learning and student motivations. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the current status of promoting school sports initiation through Physical Education in primary schools in the community of "El Jíbaro" in the municipality of La Sierpe. The following research methods and techniques were used: theoretical: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive; empirical: surveys, interviews, document analysis; and statistical-mathematical: empirical frequency distribution. The necessary information was collected, allowing for an analysis of the context surrounding sports initiation among 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in the community of "El Jíbaro" in the municipality of La Sierpe. It is concluded that the lack of appropriate sports areas, as well as the lack of support from the families of the students, the insufficient action of the sports teachers the lack of support from schools to encourage school sports, the limited promotion of sports activities in schools, and video games and the internet are hindering the aspirations of widespread sports practice during extracurricular activities for primary school children in the community of "El Jíbaro" in the municipality of La Sierpe.
2025-04-18T00:00:00-04:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Science and Physical Activity https://revistaciaf.uclv.edu.cu/index.php/revista/article/view/2810 Recreational Orientation and Task Life in recreational activities in nature 2025-11-12T00:21:59-05:00 Yoel Cruz Marrero ycmarrero@uclv.cu Maikel Rolando Zamora Nuviola mznuviola@uclv.cu Daimy Rodriguez Silva daimyrodriguez@gmail.com Amelia Domínguez Ventura adventura@uclv.cu
This paper addresses the use of Recreational Orientation as an alternative for strengthening the Life Task in Recreational Activities in Nature, based on the deficiencies in the use of the possibilities of this activity and the potential of the context that lead to how to improve Recreational Activities in Nature, to strengthen the Life Task from the Recreational orientation in the community of Remate, Remedios municipality. For this purpose, the objective was to design a system of recreational actions in nature, to strengthen the Life Task from the Recreational Orientation in the aforementioned community. The theoretical and empirical scientific methods are used, highlighting document analysis, observation, surveys, interviews, and the criteria of specialists. It is the only element of the game that allows two or three players to play simultaneously. It constitutes the backbone of the defensive system and the focal point for defending the court, and is the fastest way to execute a counterattack. The objective of this research was to determine the impact of blocking by zones of execution and its types among the Cienfuegos province men's youth volleyball team in the 2024 National Championship. The six games played by this team in the championship were analyzed. Methods and/or techniques such as observation, interviews, measurements, and a methodological workshop were used. The Navelo-Control Automated Performance Control Program, approved by the Cuban Volleyball Federation for use in elite championships, was used to analyze and process the data. The data was collected at the competition site, and the main result was that blockers predominantly used double blocks on the ends of the court. Weakness in zone 3 blocks and limited use of triple blocks in zone 4 were evident, despite the Cuban volleyball team's tendency to perform many spikes in that zone, which is counterproductive for containing the opposing team's offense. This result contains relevant information as a reference for the training and preparation of this team's players.
2025-05-12T00:00:00-04:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Science and Physical Activity
